Larahiid

Larahiid is a Khajiit publican who runs The Blue Fig Bakery, a bakery in Leyawiin, with his wife, Frehja.

Larahiid has a busy day, with little time for much besides working and sleeping. He rises at 6am every morning and eats breakfast for two hours, then goes downstairs to open the shop. He remains behind the counter until 8pm, then closes up and goes upstairs to eat dinner for two hours. After dinner, he goes straight to bed.

He's dressed in a red sailor's shirt, dark blue britches, and thick cowhide shoes; he carries four pieces of Leyawiin flatbread, two apples, a loaf of bread, and a key to the shop.

Larahiid lives above the shop; his quarters are large and comprise two rooms. The larger is the living area; it has a large dining table with a food cupboard nearby, a table where Larahiid does his accounts, a bookcase and small desk tucked into the corner, and a bench for sitting. The bedroom is half the size of the main room and has just a bed, low dresser, and a chest on a table.

Larahiid always welcomes customers personally: "Well hello! Larahiid welcomes you to the Blue Fig Bakery! Please, take in the sweet smell of the freshly baked wonders that come from our kitchen! Everything is baked the same day, so they're still warm when you buy them!" If you ask if he baked the goods himself, he says: "Oh no, this is the fine work of my lovely wife Frehja! She most certainly does a fine job, doesn't she? Such a wonderful woman, Larahiid doesn't know what he'd do without her. Isn't that right my little kitten?!" This prompts some yelling from the kitchen: "Nonsense! She is yelling simply to express how much she loves Larahiid!" If you point out that she's cursing, he replies: "Eh, eh heh... I think perhaps we may need to put some soundproofing around the kitchen door, no?"
