Recent Change[edit]
The recent change has resulted in huge blank spaces on the Major Events only versions on the timeline pages. See Lore:Second Era Major for example. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 01:18, 4 November 2019 (GMT)
- There hasn't been a change to the template in almost 10 years, and it seems unlikely that the change to the document page would have had any effect (much less that effect). I believe this is actually an issue with how MediaWiki 1.26 handles blank lines vs. templates. I know we've had an issue with other templates, though I'm at a loss as to which one(s) off-hand. Thanks for reporting it, though, I'll see what I can do. It's possible the template calls themselves may need to be rewritten so that there are no blank lines between them. In other words...

- That does appear to be a solution, though it makes it a huge mess of text if you wanted to edit the entries in the future. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 01:54, 4 November 2019 (GMT)

- I've tried it in my sandboxes and I'm not seeing any other options, so I'll go ahead and make the changes to the affected pages themselves. I won't be doing this by bot because there aren't that many pages, and I suspect the exceptions to when to do it (e.g., after titles and what not) would take as much time to program as they would to just change. – Robin Hood (talk) 02:58, 4 November 2019 (GMT)
