Ainssa is a Khajiit Enchanter and a member of the Mages Guild. She can be found in the Firewatch guildhall, and offers an array of services to members. She is a crucial (if optional) source of the Dispel Other spell during the events of the Mages Guild quest Delivery for Dagmund.

Ainssa is one of three individuals in Morrowind who appear to collect rare souls, alongside fellow Firewatch resident Dorash gro-Drethan and the obsessive Tynachos of Almas Thirr. She may therefore be involved in a three-way trade designed ultimately to get Tynachos' hands on Dorash's spirit of a famous minotaur warlord.
