Widow's Watch Ruins is a small ruined tower west-northwest of Solitude containing a hag.
Walkthrough[edit]
This is a typical tower that has tilted due to a landslide, making traversal slightly difficult. Once you have defeated the lone hag, you are free to explore. Keep climbing the structure to the top, then loop around counterclockwise until you reach a higher doorway. Through the doorway, ascend the wooden stairs and cross the wooden plank to reach an expert-locked chest partially hidden behind a table, next to which is a copy of the Restoration skill book 2920, Rain's Hand, v4 behind a random shield. There is nothing else of interest here.
Notes[edit]
- Sometimes the book and shield can be dislodged and found elsewhere around the tower and surrounding area.
- Widow's Watch Ruins also appears in ESO as Sword's Point Watchtower.
Bugs[edit]
- This location cannot be cleared, as it lacks the proper location keywords to do so.
- The Unofficial Skyrim Patch, version 2.0.7, fixes this bug. (details)
