Upgrades are collectible items that typically serve some practical purpose.

Outfit Styles that are acquired as upgrades can be applied to outfits at an outfit station at no cost. For instance, if you were to create an outfit with elements from the Dark Brotherhood Style (learned via crafting motif) and Dragon Bone Style (a collectible upgrade), you would only need to pay for the armor and weapon slots that use the Dark Brotherhood Style.

Races

Imperial Race and Outfit Style

Unlocks the ability to choose the Imperial Race when creating your character. Also unlocks all Imperial outfit style collectibles and allows them to be applied via the outfit system without an application fee.

The Imperial Race and Outfit Style is unlocked through purchase of the Imperial Edition. It allows you to play as an Imperial character and use the Imperial Style at an outfit station at no cost.

Classes

Arcanist

Unlocks the Arcanist class for use in character creation. Channel the eldritch powers of Apocrypha as an Arcanist. These spellcasters channel secret runes and abyssal spells to destroy their enemies, heal their allies, and defend against any foe.

The Arcanist class was released with the Necrom chapter, available to all who purchased it. When Gold Road hit the Live server in June of 2024, the class was offered separately in the Crown Store for 015001,500 .

Necromancer

Unlocks the Necromancer class for use in character creation. Masters of death, Necromancers can call upon corpses to serve as undead thralls and weave ghastly spells to both harm and heal.
WARNING: Using certain Necromancer abilities in town is a criminal act. Citizens and guards will react accordingly

Warden

Unlocks the Warden class for use in character creation. Wardens are defenders of the Green, master storytellers whose nature tales become magical reality. They wield frost spells against enemies and summon animals to aid them.

The Warden class was released with the Morrowind chapter, available to all who purchased it. When Summerset hit the Live server in June of 2018, the class was offered separately in the Crown Store for 015001,500 .

Companion Keepsakes

Abyssal Tea Set

Well-used clay vessels comprising a tea set. The kettle and a set of cups is etched with tentacles and eldritch runes. The whistle of the pot sounds like darkly whispered secrets. Permanently grants the passive "Azandar's Inquisitiveness" to the bearer.

The Abyssal Tea Set is acquired by completing the achievement "The Consummate Cohort."

Ancient Anticipations Idol

Hewn from basalt, this idol merges all three Good Daedra into single grotesque effigy. While some might consider such an object hideous, Mirri regards it as one of her greatest finds. Permanently grants the passive "Mirri's Expertise" to the bearer.

The Ancient Anticipations Idol is acquired by completing the "Treasured Comrade" achievement.

Bastian's Julianos Medallion

Gifted to Bastian when he was still a boy, this medallion depicts the logician's triangle in polished bronze. The edges have grown dull, the result of frequent use as a worry talisman. Permanently grants the passive "Bastian's Insight" to the bearer.

Bastian's Julianos Medallion is acquired by completing the "Brother-in-Arms" achievement.

Garland Ring Humming Pick

A delicate clockwork gadget fashioned from second-hand materials and made to look like a hummingbird. Its long, thin copper tongue makes short work of even the toughest locks. Permanently grants the passive "Tanlorin's Finesse" to the bearer.

The Garland Ring Humming Pick is acquired by completing the "A Bloom on the Horizon" achievement.

Ja'kh's Bell of Bounty

A walnut-sized bell ornately carved from jade. Detailed with electrum bezels and embossing, it once heralded the presence of a mischievous and much-loved cat named Ja'kh. Permanently grants the passive "Zerith's Guidance" to the bearer.

Ja'kh's Bell of Bounty is acquired by completing "The Twilight Path" achievement.

Luxury Thieves Tools

A set of well-made thieves tools set within a leather pouch. One tool is missing, likely snatched by your thieving companion for her own amusement. Permanently grants the passive "Ember's Intuition" to the bearer.

The Luxury Thieves Tools are acquired by completing the "Ember's Gang" achievement.

Sharp's Handmade Fishing Lure

A nightwood fishing lure in the shape of a minnow, decorated with a black feather. The illusion enchantment activates with bait and water, enticing fish with writhing flashes of color. Permanently grants the passive "Sharp's Patience" to the bearer.

Sharp's Handmade Fishing Lure is acquired by completing the "Darkest Before the Dawn" achievement.

Stendarr's Sweets Vault

This pottery effigy has a small cap on top, allowing access to the hollow interior. Within, Isobel has secreted away a delicious assortment of some of her favorite sweets. Permanently grants the passive "Isobel's Grace" to the bearer.

Stendarr's Sweets Vault is acquired by completing the achievement "A Knight's Best Friend".

To recognize your efforts within the Infinite Archive, Filer Kor grants you access to a third Vision choice.

Scribing

Unlocks the Scribing feature for use on characters that have completed the tutorial quest, "The Second Era of Scribing." Access to other features in the system comes from completing Scribing quests on at least one character on your account.
