- Records indicate Tel Aruhn merchants bred the tawny lambent guar with the freckled guar. Scholars dispute this, saying instead that the Imperial Legion accidentally created them when they administered the area. Either way, they're crafty little snugglers.

- The text appears to reference 2920, The Last Year of the First Era Mid Year chapter, where many strategic castles across Morrowind's coastline, including Tel Aruhn were to be leased to the Imperial Legion in a truce presented to Vivec by Prince Juilek Cyrodiil.
