Scalecaller was an ancient Dragon Priest dedicated to the dragon, Thorvukun. When she was living, her power was immense and her reign seemed unchecked. That is, until she was betrayed by her followers and the link between her and her dragon was severed. Her cult spread to the winds to avoid persecution but still maintained vigil for their fallen lord. Now, the time has come and the descendants of the Cult of Scalecaller have the means to bring the ancient Dragon Priest back to life.

Before her betrayal and death, the Dragon Priest Zaan the Scalecaller served the mighty wyrm Thurvokun. Upon her resurrection she found a new patron to serve in her dragon's absence: the Daedric Prince Peryite, the Lord of Pestilence. With her master's blessing, Zaan's powers have grown, and now she threatens to bring her master's scourge to all of Tamriel.
Zaan the Scalecaller has a new patron in the Lord of Pestilence, and their unholy alliance can only spell doom for the people of Tamriel. Will you brave the dark paths of Scalecaller Peak and put a stop to the deadly plague before it can spread?

Layout[edit]

Frostspike Caverns[edit]

A frozen cave network riddled with stalactites. Jorvuld Davaux's camp lies at the entrance to the cave. A copy of The History of Zaan the Scalecaller can be found on the ground next to him.

The caverns are inhabited by ogres, white dire wolves, and grey imps in abundance. The imps wield frost magic. Two dire wolves, two imps, and an ogre elder are present in the first pull, in front of the broken staircase upon which Lodiss and Ila are standing. At the base of the stairs, you'll head west up a frosty path to delve into the ice caves. A diseased skeever lies at the first bend. An ogre brute and an additional skeever will come running down the hallway once you aggro it.

The next room contains a camp inhabited by ogres. There are two imps, two skeevers, a dire wolf, and an ogre elder in this pull. There's a pool of green Plague Water on the northeast side of the room: standing in it will inflict major disease damage over time. An ogre brute and two skeevers lie in the tunnel ahead.

The next room consists of a cavern overlooking a cliff. The ogre brute in this room is accompanied by three imps and three dire wolves. You'll climb the slope behind the ogre's tent to enter a tunnel with two skeevers and another ogre brute. The first boss lies beyond this pull.
