Dig up the mound he had been sniffing and Musi will run off to the next mound. As you go from mound to mound, you'll only get the following from Musi:

"<The dog motions to the mound of sand.>"

While you're following the dog:

"<The dog motions to follow.>"

You'll finally come across a skull:

"<The dog whines and barks at the skull and then looks at you expectantly.>"

Pick up the skull and Tarshea appears:

"<The dog barks happily.>"

And after speaking to Tarshea, Musi will "say":

"<The dog pants happily.>"
