Quest-Related Events[edit]
After speaking to Stormy-Eyes in the third vision, you will see a pair of soldiers talking about the king and how they refuse to support him:
- Eastmarch Soldier: "Can you believe Jorunn defeated his brother? Fildgor must have been drunk or something."
- Eastmarch Soldier: "If that fool Jorunn thinks we're going to die for him, he's dumber than I thought. I'd sooner stab him in the back than stand at his side."
When you walked up the stone stairs, a trio of them will be conversing about how they view Jorunn as unworthy as king:
- Eastmarch Soldier: "I died for this? For Jorunn? I bet he never lifted a sword in his life! But his sister, Nurnhilde. She was a true warrior!"
- Eastmarch Soldier: "By Kyne, Fildgor could fight, too. Now that's a man I'd die for! But no. We get a bard king. He won't survive a year, I'd wager."
- Eastmarch Soldier: "We'd be better off. Making an alliance with the Dark Elves? Jorunn's a traitor, if you ask me. A damned puppet king!"
