Individual Pages[edit]
We have recently had a rather lengthy discussion where it was decided that we don't want to create pages for every inn and shop in the game. See: Oblivion talk:The Bloated Float Inn. Any information about this tavern should be included on the NPC page for its publican, Delos Fandas. --TheRealLurlock Talk 14:47, 22 February 2007 (EST)
- As per the new Oblivion Places Redesign Project and by the request of Rpeh, this page is being tagged for cleanup under the OPRP. --Kementari 02:55, 3 July 2007 (EDT)

- "by the request of Rpeh" sounds rather grand... For those not involved in the correspondence, Kementari recently noticed one of the projects on my user page and offered her assistance, which I gladly accepted. When I put that line on my page, I was unaware of the debate mentioned by Lurlock above. I think, since February, the consensus has shifted towards having the individual pages. That would let us eventually include information about, for instance, possible theft targets, which wouldn't fit on the publican's page. I agree that some measure of duplication is going to occur but I'd rather see that than miss information altogether. --RpehTalk 03:36, 3 July 2007 (EDT)

- Eep, I was unaware of that discussion as well. However, since most of the OPRP discussion has happened since that particular decision was made, and there seems to be rather a consensus on the support for the OPRP, do we suppose that the idea of individual place pages, including shops and houses, might be reopened for discussion? As Nephele said in the The Bloated Float Inn's talk page - "Yes, it'll probably be a while before any significant part of this gets implemented (unless there are some interested volunteers with a lot of free time)..." - this philosophy could be applied here as well. Moreover, I'm with Jadrax's comment in that discussion - redundancy, so long as it isn't executed sloppily, is only a good thing for a wiki, founded on search functions. :) --Kementari 03:52, 3 July 2007 (EDT)

Crash[edit]

Really an Inn?[edit]
Is this even an Inn? Reasons for it not being one include the lack of rooms for sell and the title (most have the word inn within the title). I think we should change it over to a store, especially with the upcoming revamps for the different places. Thoughts? --Elliot talk 10:22, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
- Not an inn, so I guess it should be a store. Still, it is kindda neat to have the regulars - perhaps we can add the box anyway? Krusty 10:37, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
- I think it should be kept as an inn. It doesn't rent rooms, but then neither does the Aleswell Inn, the Flowing Bowl, the Foaming Flask or the Sleeping Mare. "Inn" can mean "Tavern" - it doesn't have to offer rooms.
- The title argument doesn't fly either: we currently classify 35 buildings as inns, of which 16 don't include the word "Inn" - nearly half. –rpeh•T•C•E• 10:49, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
- Could we possibly start a new article for taverns, for the "inns" that dont offer rooms? — Unsigned comment by 24.168.236.34 (talk) at 14:30 on 4 March 2010
Curtis[edit]
I don't agree with Curtis being on the regulars list. He's not ever encountered within the game, so mentioning him on pages like that seems a bit confusing and pointless. I think all that kind of data should be included on his NPC page, so that people won't see it unless they're specifically looking for imformation about him. Just my opinion though... Legoless 20:48, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
- Indeed, he doesn't even appear in the game, so he shouldn't be on the list. Thanks for pointing that out! --Timenn-<talk> 13:07, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

- He may not appear in the game but Curtis's script package says that he goes at the Feed Bag so he is on the regulars list. --Rigas Papadopoulos 15:09, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
Delos on the residents table?[edit]
The regulars are listed on a table under the Residents section, so should the only true resident (Delos) be included in this table under a new section?--WoahBro (talk) 03:05, 29 May 2013 (GMT)
