Tuveso Beleth

Tuveso Beleth is a Dark Elf smith in the Redoran Council Hall in the Manor District of Ald'ruhn. She is an Oathman in House Redoran. To find her shop, enter the Redoran Council Hall through the left door. Her smith shop and home will be right across the entrance on the first floor. She wears a common shirt, a common skirt, common shoes, common pants and common gloves. Aside from her natural resistance to fire and the sanctuary provided by her ancestors, she knows no spells.

Escort to Koal Cave[edit]

Speak with Tuveso Beleth to receive your first duty from her:

  • [If this is your first time speaking with her.] "I am Tuveso Beleth, and this is my son, Deval. I am a smith of House Redoran."
  • [Else.] "Hello again, %PCName. What can I do for you?"
  • duties
    • [If you are not a member of House Redoran.]"I don't have any work for an outlander."
    • [If you are currently expelled from House Redoran.] "I heard you were expelled for breaking our rules. I cannot speak to you about this until you make amends."
    • [Else.] "My son, Deval Beleth, wants to make the Ruddy Man Pilgrimage. I want to let him go, but he is young and needs someone to escort him to the Koal Cave."
    • Koal Cave
      • "Talk to my son, Deval Beleth, and escort him to the Koal Cave, a famous pilgrimage site south of Gnisis."

Return to Tuveso Beleth after you have safely brought her son to Koal Cave in order to finish this quest and receive your reward:

  • "Did my son arrive safely at the Koal Cave?"
  • Koal Cave
    • [Disposition +10. 1 Steel Firesword has ben added to your inventory.] "Thank you for keeping my son safe on his pilgrimage. Please take this sword with my gratitude."

Mentioning the topic again after the completion of this question elicits the following response:

  • Koal Cave
    • [If you are currently expelled from House Redoran.] "You were expelled from House Redoran. You need to make amends."
    • [Else.] "Thank you for keeping my son safe on his pilgrimage."

If, however, Deval Beleth died at some point while you were escorting him, Tuveso Beleth will obviously be upset and the quest will end in failure:

  • Koal Cave
    • "My son is dead. I have nothing to say to you."

Armor Repair Debts[edit]

Speak with Tuveso Beleth again after you have finished her first duty to receive the second and last duty that she may offer to you:

  • duties
    • "Giras Indaram owes me for several repairs to his armor. I have asked him to pay the debt, but he refuses. I cannot seek redress from a Councilman, since Giras' brothers are among the most respected Buoyant Armigers. I need someone to make Giras Indaram pay his armor repair debts."'
    • armor repair debts
      • "Go speak with Giras Indaram at the Buoyant Armiger's stronghold in Molag Mar. He owes me 2000 drakes for repairs to his armor."

Talk to Tuveso Beleth again to deliver the debt money to her and to finish this quest:

  • "Were you able to get Giras Indaram's armor repair debts?"
  • armor repair debts
    • "Do you have the debt money from Giras Indaram?"
    • Yes, here it is.
      • [Disposition +20. 2000 Gold has been removed from your inventory. 1 Glass Frostsword has been added to your inventory.] "You do? Well, I must say I'm very impressed, %PCName. Here, why not take this glass sword I've been working on."
    • No, not yet.
      • [Disposition -5.] "Well, I must say I did not truly expect that you could get the debt money."

If you speak with her again after the successful completion of this quest, she says:

  • armor repair debts
    • "You were able to get Giras Indaram to pay his debts where others have failed."
  • duties
    • [If you are at least a Councilman within House Redoran.] "Yes, %PCRank?"
    • [If you are at most a House Father of House Redoran and Giras Indaram is dead.] "You have done everything I would ask."
    • [Else.] "You have done everything I would ask and more."
