Lore:Ohmes-raht
Then shall be born the Ohmes-Raht
For Lorkhaj favored those he called Men
And told Azurah they would need guidance
Ohmes-Raht you cannot tell are Khajiit at all
Save that they have more hair than most
So long as they hide their tail
You may find them among Kings of Men."
—All Our Perfect Forms
The Ohmes-raht are a bipedal furstock of Khajiit. Like the Ohmes, they can easily be mistaken as men or elves, though have a stronger resemblance to humans.[1][2][3][4][5] They are one of the furstocks that walk plantigrade, much like humans.[5]
However, despite their similarities to men and mer, they still display features that mark them as Khajiit. The Ohmes-raht have tails and their bodies tend to be covered with a layer of thin fur.[4][5][4][6] Much like their Ohmes kin, they also paint their faces to resemble a feline-aspect.[7][6]
Some early literature would say Lorkhaj had Azurah make the Ohmes-raht to provide guidance to humanity. As a result, they could be found among the kings of men.[4] The spirit Boethra has been depicted as distinct from any known furstock, but displays some similarity to the Ohmes-raht.[8]
