Lore:Dagger of Symmachus
The UESPWiki – Your source for The Elder Scrolls since 1995
The Dagger of Symmachus is the Dunmeri-styled glass ceremonial dagger of General Symmachus, the husband of Queen Barenziah. Because of its history, it is considered a treasure to the people of Mournhold.[1] The dagger has a high durability and is enchanted to enchance the user's short blade skills, endurance, and reflect hostile spells cast upon the user.[2]
History[edit]
In 3E 427, the Nerevarine received the dagger after besting the champion of King Hlaalu Helseth in a duel.[3] Later that year, the dagger was sold to a Dunmer noblewomen by the name of Torasa Aram, who put it on display in her Museum of Artifacts in Mournhold.[4]
