Dragonlings are winged reptiles that resemble dragons and attack by breathing fire. They can be hit by weapons of any material.

Fighting Strategies

Melee attack is best; beware its fiery breath, for it is not a spell. Dragonlings are heavily armored and can take a lot of hits. The Dragonish language skill can sometimes render Dragonlings non-hostile.

Notes

• The Daggerfall User's Guide erroneously states that dragonlings cast spells in combat.
• Unlike most monsters, dragonlings carry no treasure.
• The internal filename for their textures list them as Faery Dragon. Despite this, they do not drop the Fairy dragon's scales ingredient, as they do not have any drops whatsoever. It was likely intended that the ingredient would be obtained from them before eventually being cut.
