Vabvam Drothan is a Dark Elf herder who lives in a house east of Pell's Gate. He tends to the Imperial City Aqueduct.
His routine varies depending how far along you are in the aqueduct quest. Until the quest is complete, he'll wake up at 10am every morning, eat breakfast, and spend his day puttering around the house. On weekends, he may go visit The Sleeping Mare in Pell's Gate or the Office of Imperial Commerce in the Imperial City Market District. Once the quest is complete, he'll get up at 9am on weekdays and spend the day walking the aqueduct then he goes home at 6pm for a three-hour dinner, spends an hour cleaning up, and goes to bed at 10pm. On the weekends, he has a small chance of going to either the inn or the OIC; otherwise, he spends the day at home.
He wears a green wool shirt, breeches, and braided leather sandals, and is armed with an iron dagger; he carries 13 gold and a key to the aqueduct.
His house is located right next to Charcoal Cave. It consists of a single large room; the center area is his living space, which holds a dining table and two chairs, and another chair set in front of a fire place. A chair and low table sit in the corner opposite, beside a cupboard storing food. A sunken area to the right has a single bed and dresser; another on the other side of the room has a bookcase with books, a couple barrels of tools, a chest for his valuables, and a doorway that leads to a tunnel going down to the aqueduct.
Aside from rumors and quest-related dialogue, he has nothing special to say.
