Old Smith Drakares

Old Smith Drakares is a retired Dark Elf crusader who lives in the Imperial City Waterfront District.

Drakares gets up at 6am every morning and spends the morning at home; he eats breakfast at Juno's Guesthouse at 10am, then goes drinking at The Thirsty Guar for three hours. He returns home and spends the rest of the day there; he eats dinner from 8pm to 10pm, then goes to bed.

He wears a quilted doublet, blacksmith's pants and iron gauntlets and boots; he's armed with a steel claymore and carries three blackberries, several bottles of beer and ale, a small amount of gold and a flawless sapphire, a copy of Frontier, Conquest, and a loaf of bread.

Drakares' home is located near the mid-point of the Waterfront. As befitting someone who ran a successful business for years, it's quite large by Waterfront standards; it has a double bed, dining table in the middle of the room, and many containers for storage. His old forge (cold now) is located at one end of the house.

Despite his reputation as someone who can work with weapons and armor, he doesn't do repairs: Oh, hello there! I do hope you haven't come to get your equipment repaired, because you'll be quite disappointed." If you ask why, he says: "I retired from my business several months ago! For quite a few years I've had a steady rate of business, but now it's become too hard to compete with the smiths in the city. Plus, I'm not exactly getting any younger! It was about time I passed the torch to the younger generation, and start enjoying the time I have left in this world.
