Marius the Cobbler at work in The Quick Cobbler, Imperial City Market District

Marius the Cobbler is an Imperial clothier who runs The Quick Cobbler, a shoe store on the upper level of the Imperial City Market District.

Marius gets up at 6am every morning and eats breakfast for two hours, then goes down to open his shop for the day. He remains open until 7pm, then closes up and goes upstairs to do some work for a few hours before he goes to bed at 10pm.

He wears a quilted doublet, dark blue britches, and quilted shoes, and carries a pear, a loaf of bread, and a key to his shop.

Marius lives and works in a large apartment above his shop. It has a bed, several cupboards for storage, and a workbench, along with a small dining table and a nook with a bench, bookcase, and table where he can sit and relax.

If you encounter Marius during shop hours, he'll welcome you: "Hello there! Welcome to The Quick Cobbler! I'll fix your shoes in less than an hour, or your next shoe repair is half price!" If you note how fast that is, he says: "You're darn right it is! I'm the fastest cobbler in Cyrodiil! No, Tamriel! All the others are put to shame! I'm also the only one skilled enough to create two unique sets of slippers, one gold, the other made of a fine, delicate glass. They're great for gifts, go fantastic with any formal attire, and go down incredibly well at parties and other high-end functions."
