Benadict Melius

Benadict Melius is an Imperial guard and Legion Customs official who oversees all incoming and outgoing shipments from the Imperial City Waterfront District; he also offers passage on a ship to various locations (see below).

Benadict gets up at 7am every morning and spends a couple hours polishing his armor and getting ready for the day. At 9am, he goes to the Customs Office to take over the day shift. He remains on duty until 5pm, then closes up the office and goes back to the watchtower and changes out of his armor. At 6pm, he sits down to eat dinner for two hours, then he spends the rest of the night relaxing until he goes to bed at midnight.

When he's on duty, Benadict wears a set of Palace Guard armor and is armed with an Akaviri dai-katana; off-duty, he changes into civilian clothes (brown shirt, light brown linen pants, and pigskin shoes). He carries a small amount of gold and an Imperial Watch key.

Benadict has a bunk in the Imperial Legion Customs Watchtower, with a chest for his possessions.

Benadict is polite and professional: "I am Benadict Melius, customs officer of the Imperial Legion, currently stationed here in the Imperial City! What can I do for you today?"

As mentioned before, he offers passage on a ship to several locations. Unlike the other harbourmasters, he offers no personal opinions, just information. Additionally, members of the Imperial Legion can sail from the Imperial City for free.
