Anna Ruthir in her home

Anna Ruthir, a Nord commoner, is a housewife residing in her hometown of Anvil. She is married to a man who disappeared about ten years ago.

Anna spends every day in her home. She sleeps in her own bed from 11pm until 9am, and she eats a morning meal from 10am until 12pm, and then enjoys an evening meal from 8pm until 10pm. The rest of her day involves wandering around her home.

She wears a set of middle-class clothing and one piece of upper class jewelry, changing what she wears every so often. She carries her house key and a small amount of gold.

Anna's house is located just slightly north and west of the Anvil Dock Gate, within the city walls. Her house is above Jesan Sextius' House, and can be reached by climbing some stone stairs - Anna keeps her door locked at all times. The lower floor of the house is the living area, including the kitchen and a table for Anna's meals. Several books are stored on shelves and below the stairs. Upstairs is the bedroom, and above the front door, covered with cobwebs can be found Anna's husband's desk and an Old Journal he left behind.

Anna is quite cheerful, offering a friendly greeting: "Oh, hello there! My, you're a strong looking one! Let me guess, you've traveled a fair bit, haven't you?" When asked how she can tell, she goes on to say "Your eyes... you have the same look in your eyes that my husband used to have before he disappeared..." Asking Anna about her husband, she will explain "Yes, it's been a while since he left... he went on a trip to Kvatch, and then I never saw him again. He always had a head for adventure, so I'm not surprised he's gone. I'm sure he's fine, I doubt anything bad has happened to him... he's just off searching the world, just like he's always wanted to." Anna has nothing more to say, and if spoken to again she will offer the greeting "If you ever see my husband, send him my love."

Notes[edit]

  • Although Anna Ruthir's husband is nowhere to be found, another of his journals does exist, in the mod Unique Landscapes: Brena River Ravine (download from Oblivion Nexus).
  • Anna Ruthir will not appear in a game running Better Cities: Open Cities Reborn. This is because while Open Cities Reborn also adds a house for Anna Ruthir, it is Anna who left her Old Journal and went travelling, rather than her husband.
