"If you're looking to join the Briars you should speak with Glaras. Just head up to the top of the tree, you'll find her there."

Light the Wolf brazier and Gaerthir will appear:

Gaerthir: "I am the Wolf. I howl and the rest of the pack responds. Sharp-toothed and hungry, we hunt together."

Gaerthir: "Working together, we take down the toughest foe."

Gaerthir: "Hunt as a pack. The way of the Wolf is to move in numbers. Remember this."

He walks off without another word.

Gaerthir (Spectral)

While trying to touch the Brackenleaf's heart, Gaerthir and his Spirit Wolf will try to stop you. He will either say:

Gaerthir: "Outsider, you'll not get past me!"

Gaerthir: "Leave this place! You are not welcome!"

Gaerthir: "Death is nothing, Outsider. The only thing that matters is Brackenleaf's survival!"

Return to the village and he'll casually say:

"You've been gone awhile."

Skills and Abilities

Quick Shot

A basic ranged attack that does minor physical damage.

Arrow Spray

The enemy shoots a spray of arrows in the direction it is facing as indicated by a red cone. This attack does moderate physical damage as well as snares all enemies hit. This attack can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance. Blocking also prevents the snare and reduces the damage.

Volley

The enemy fires continuously at an area as indicated by a red circle. This attack does moderate physical damage over time. This attack can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance or simply avoided.

Dialogue

After joining the Briars, he can be found in the feasting pod.

"I'm preparing a feast in your honor. Heart of the snake, tiger and wolf will be served. With a side of frog legs and mammoth tongue. We spared no expense!"
